Women in Rwanda are heavily involved in all aspects of egg production, from caring for the chickens to collecting, cleaning, and packaging the eggs for sale. This work is physically demanding and requires long hours of manual labor, often in challenging environmental conditions. Despite their crucial role in egg production, many women in Rwanda face fatigue as a result of the strenuous nature of their work. The combination of heavy lifting, constant movement, and exposure to harsh outdoor elements can take a toll on their bodies over time. To address this issue, there is a need for better support systems for women in the egg production industry in Rwanda. This could include providing access to ergonomic tools and equipment to reduce physical strain, implementing training programs on proper lifting techniques and workplace safety, and offering health and wellness resources to help women combat fatigue and prevent burnout. Furthermore, promoting gender equality in the agricultural sector and ensuring that women have equal access to resources, opportunities, and decision-making power can help alleviate the burden of fatigue on female egg producers in Rwanda. Overall, understanding and addressing the issue of women's fatigue in the egg production industry in Rwanda is essential for promoting the health, well-being, and empowerment of female agricultural workers. By implementing supportive measures and fostering gender equality, we can create a more sustainable and inclusive environment for women in this vital sector.
